Be a Read for the Record Guest Reader!

Celebrate literacy by participating in the largest shared reading experience! Jumpstart’s Read for the Record® campaign mobilizes millions of children and adults to celebrate literacy by sharing their passion for literacy with their community. Join us on February 26th, 2026 as we read See Marcus Grow by Marcus Bridgewater together in big cities, small towns, and everywhere in between to put children first by shining a spotlight on the importance of high-quality early education. See the map below for elementary schools and childcare centers that requested guest reader recruitment support.  NOTE:  While all schools and childcare centers have the opportunity to participate and get books to host the event, not all schools will appear on the map.  Schools not on the map may be recruiting their own guest readers for the BIG DAY.  If you want to read at a school or center that is not listed as an option on the map, reach out to the school directly.
