Support Girls in Your Community – Volunteer as a Troop Leader or Helper

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of girls in your community? Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as Troop Leaders or Troop Helpers in Broward County!

You’ll help girls grow into confident leaders through fun, hands-on activities in STEM, the outdoors, life skills, and entrepreneurship. No prior experience needed—just a positive attitude and a willingness to make a meaningful impact. We provide all training and materials!

Roles Available:

  • Troop Leader: Organize and lead regular troop meetings with the support of other volunteers and Girl Scout staff.

  • Troop Helper: Assist with troop meetings, activities, and events as needed.

Time Commitment:
Flexible—most troops meet 2–4 times per month. We’ll work with your schedule!

Perfect for College Students!
We offer internship opportunities for students looking to gain experience working with youth while earning college credit or community service hours. Ideal for education, social work, psychology, or child development majors.
